Steve Burton Fired From ‘General Hospital’ For Vaccinations
Actor Steve Burton has revealed that he was fired from the TV show General Hospital for the show’s vaccination duties.
He has been on the show for almost 30 years.
“I want you to hear that from me personally,” he said. “Unfortunately, General Hospital let me go on a mission to vaccinate. I applied for my religious and medical exemptions, and both of those were denied. You know, It’s heartbreaking. But it’s also personal freedom for me. I don’t think anyone will lose their livelihood because of this.”
The actor hopes he can return to the show at some point.
“But with that said, I will always be grateful for my time at General Hospital,” he continued. “I like it there. I grew up there. I grew up with some friends, so I’ll always be grateful. And I believe that when one door closes, more doors open. It’s always the same. So I’m excited to see what the future holds and maybe one day if these mandates are lifted, I can come back and finish my career as a solo player. the way is Jason Morgan. It would have been an honor. And if not, I’m going to take advantage of this amazing experience, carry on, and be forever grateful.”
