After getting off to a quick start, gelding quickly found itself in 10th place, 4 and a half down from the half-mile mark. Unable to make it past the next quarter of a mile, Berrios went among his competitors, eventually moving from seventh to first on the stretch.
Irideo paid $65.
Foreign mixed-race compatriots Gregorian Chant and Bran finish second and third, three quarters the length behind the winner. Kentucky Pharoah made the top four. Eclipse Champion 2019 2 year old pony Storm the Court finished sixth, 2 1/4 return length.
