Many of us are familiar with the platform known as Airbnb. This app allows you to book a home for a certain period of time. Sniffspot follows a similar premise. Local homeowners can provide their outdoor space for any dog that needs it, allowing them to enjoy uninterrupted activities. Most people charge $10 to $15 an hour to use their backyard, and some even offer a dog pool and free dog food.
Most of the people who provide their backyard are dog lovers for more green space. Sniffspot owners must ensure that their yard is safe to play comfortably and free from any possible interaction with dogs.
Landlords can only allow one dog on a reservation at a time and must mention whether any other dogs can be viewed from the yard. People with reactive puppies know that even seeing another dog nearby can upset them, so it’s really a game.

The Sniffspot app is just getting started, but they already have over 2,000 locations listed around the world at this point. When doing a quick search of some of the main cities on the app, each option has its own multiple beaches to choose from.
