Chery Omoda 5-axle incident – vehicle is being inspected, investigated, recalling a small number of customers
Chery Malaysia has released an official statement following the spread of a social media post regarding a customer’s Omoda 5 that appeared to have had its rear axle separated from the vehicle.
The owner of the vehicle involved alleged that the rear axle of the Omoda 5 broke while moving without hitting any bumps or potholes and was not involved in any accident.
This is the second case of Omoda 5 customer unit published in viral social media content, the previous case being an alleged brake problem, for which Chery Malaysia issued an investigation order. official statement earlier this month.
