I Want Everything From Minimalist Summer Collection by H&M
I love a bit of minimalism in summer. Do not misunderstand me. I don’t hate bright colors, but there’s something very classy about wearing muted tones in the heat. I haven’t planned many trips this year, but I like to imagine myself on the beaches of Ibiza or Cote d’Azur, and H&M’s new summer collection will help me do just that. The sun also seems to come out (finally), so I can feel myself turning to thinking about light layers and flowing dresses as summer arrives. In this edit, of course, I found a selection of items that can be worn year-round if you stack them properly, and some great essentials you’ll find in any weather.
From classic blazers to uplifting linen pieces, crochet skirts to the perfect summer-ready wide-leg pants, H&M always seems to find exactly what I want to wear next season. The edit below is filled with enhancements your friends will never believe it’s not the designer. My personal favorite? I’m going to wear a cream suit to repeat with a simple sleeveless top, and I love the idea of wearing a wrinkled shirt with loose jeans. I’ve also owned a two-tone linen shirt and I can confirm it’s a summer wardrobe essential—for under £20. Hooray, H&M, you’ve done it again.
