Hooch Great Dane looks better in Crocs than any human
Great Danes have some of the largest paws in the dog world, so it’s no wonder they have a hard time finding comfortable shoes. For a dog named Hooch, that all changed when she discovered fake Crocs. made of one Material like PEVA, these colorful slides keep Hooch’s dogs from barking.
The dog’s mother, Holly Smith, discovered the blue “Crocs” online and knew that Hooch must have them to protect his fledgling paws. If nothing else, Smith knew that silly shoes would make for a fun photo session. She didn’t know her dog would love them.
As soon as Smith strapped the dog Crocs to his feet, Hooch felt the need to strut his stuff. She often wears boots to protect her feet from the elements, but the breathable, perforated clogs are a whole new experience.
Smith told The Dodo: “She was immediately excited when I put them on and we MUST go for a walk.
Her Crocs are great, Hooch wants to do more than just walk—she wants to run!
Her electric blue legs also help garner extra affection from her local community (even more than what pony-sized dogs usually get).
“She loves them,” Smith said. “She gets more attention when she wears them.”
Hooch currently only has a pair of Crocs, but she wears them all the time and is ready to collect the entire rainbow rubber sole dog clogs.
While Hooch’s clogs have certainly garnered her most attention online and in real life, they’re not the only stylish pieces in her wardrobe.
Along with her dogs and feline siblings, she loves dressing up for the holidays and beyond. Here, she is celebrating Thanksgiving with her furry companions.
And here they are getting into the Christmas spirit with their elf costumes.
For Halloween, she got her pony size by dressing up as a thoroughbred horse.
Despite his size, Hooch is actually a gentle giant. She loves meeting new people and puppies (especially small dogs), spending time with her mom and siblings, and showing off her latest outfits.
She’s trying her best not to let new fame pop into her head, but she definitely likes more attention!
