What you need:
- 2 pieces of paper to decorate a square with side 6 squares. Buy your own paper or design with a fun rubber stamp.
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Adhesive
- String (optional)
Direction:
- With the decorative side of the paper facing up, fold in half, flip, then fold again. Now, turn over. Fold into a triangle, unfold, fold the other side into a triangle, and unfold.
- With the trim side facing up, glue the noted folds into a 4-pointed star. This may take a bit of skill, but you’ll get there!
- On the back of each sheet, mark 1¼” from the edge straight to the center. Do this on all 4 sides, then cut along that dot to create flaps on all 4 sides.
- Fold the flaps to the center.
- Then, apply a bit of glue to one side of the cap. Fold the opposite cover over to stick to the glued cap. Repeat on all wings.
- If you want to hang your star, put a piece of string in one of the flaps before folding it up.
- Put some glue on the back of one star and glue the other to it, keeping it in place for a bit.
