A Coast Guard officer was on the scene, just in time, when he spotted an aquatic animal caught in a fishing net in the Shorecrest area of Miami, Florida.

He pulled the dolphin closer to his boat but the dolphin was so scared and tried to run away. Police officer Silva refused to give up and caught up with the dolphin again.

He knew that if he hadn’t helped this poor dolphin, it wouldn’t have survived. He starts cutting off some of the nets with a pocket knife, but the dolphin is still scared and fights to get out again.
