Hisuian Voltorb will appear in Pokemon GO starting January 30, 2022. This is the first time Hisuian-type Pokemon appear in the game, following the launch of Pokemon Legend: Arceus. Hisuian form will appear alongside the normal version of Voltorb. As in Pokemon Legend: Arceus, Hisuian form will be both Electric form and Grass form. However, the player will not be able to evolve it into an Electrode. There is no indication as to whether it could develop at a later date. Its arrival comes with a new Special Research quest that allows the player to encounter Hisuian Voltorb and capture it.
Earlier this week, Niantic added skins for player avatars based on main character’s clothes in Pokemon Legend: Arceus, available to all players. Although Hisuian Voltorb is currently the only Pokemon from Arceus to appear in Pokemon GONiantic also added dozens of Pokemon from other recent titles As if Sword and Shield Pokemon.
Pokemon GO instantly available on iOS and Android devices. Hisuian Voltorb will begin appearing in the game on January 30, 2022, at 10 a.m. local time.
