Monolith Soft’s Xenoblade Chronicles 3 received the first update since the game launched in July! Nintendo released the patch notes earlier today on its Japanese website (thanks Totally Nintendo for translation!), and it looks like version 1.1.1 fixed some bugs throughout the game.
Many of the fixes in this patch involve encounters with enemies that won’t end due to bugs or changes to the drop rates of items needed for the Collectopaedia Card, along with “many other fixes” through usually, so we hope these help remove some of the twists and turns of this brilliant RPG!
Here are the full patch notes from Nintendo:
Version 1.1.1 – September 7, 2022
– Changed the behavior of Perilwing Ryuho so that it cannot be defeated if it is located in an inaccessible area during the intended story progression.
– Fixed an issue where the first battle in Teach’s Ascension Quest, “Shadow of Enmity”, did not end.
– Fixed an issue in the quest “The Illusion Returns” where the battle against the Mysterious Raiders would not end.
– Fixed an issue where the Gogol Vuaga and Gogol Dalm items, which were required for some Collectopaedia Cards, could not be obtained.
– Fixed an issue where the effects of dishes other than Grilled Sponge and Kerfluffled Torpedo Wrap would not apply correctly.
– Fixed an issue that caused the Talent Art button to not appear and prevented players from pressing it under certain circumstances. If you’ve had this problem, you can fix it by loading save data after updating the game.
– Fixed an issue where the word “Verkaufen” in the Shop menu would overlap with the text right next to it when the language was set to German.
– Many other issues have been fixed to improve the gaming experience.
In other Xenoblade news, just yesterday, actor Harry McEntire – the English voice of the main character Noah – thanked fans for their love and support ever since Xenoblade Chronicles 3 released.
