This insanely good charity pack has over 60 games for $5

‘This is the season of philanthropic bundles, where the developers urge you to take the generous act of giving their video games a new home in exchange for a fraction of their true value. Next: a pack of 66 games on Itch.io. Do you work hard enough to build a Kind Snowman, Old Man’s Journey, Lieve Oma, An Ordinary Lost Phone, Raetikon’s Secret, Cosmic Express, Fugl, Botanicula, Hacknet, The Stillness Of The Wind, The Hex – *takes a deep breath* – Art Sqool, Hidden Folks, Cloud Gardens, Signs Of The Sojourner, Wide Ocean Big Jacket, Coffee Talk, Ynglet and more on your computer?

Go on, have a heart. It will cost $5 and 100% of the money will go to the World Land Trust.

WLT is an international charity that works to protect threatened habitats by working with local conservation groups. You can find out more about what they do to protect rainforests and wildlife on their site.

However, the game developers have done it generously by donating their games to the cause. All you have to do is pay a small fee and get a great bundle of games. Hide Folks Alone valuable – as Cosmic Express, and hex, and Botanicula, and Raetikon, and A normal lost phone (all links go to most glowing reviews).

Earlier this week I wrote about Jingle Jam, a charity fundraiser with a bundle of 55 games available with a minimum donation of £55, including Wildermyth, Northgard and many more. Both of these packages are good enough, honestly, it wouldn’t sound like a charity at all. You are basically following these organizations and making money like a bandit.
