A super excited golden retriever named Sonny made one of the best days of his parents’ lives even more memorable.
Everything started as a normal day at the beach, but everything changed when they went to take a family photo. Sonny’s mother, Madison, thinks they’re taking pictures but Jack, Sonny’s dad, has other plans.
Instead, the camera captured what would be one of the best recommendations, thanks in part to Sonny.
When dad gets down on one knee to ask his mom to marry him, Sonny can’t contain his excitement anymore and gets a case of zoomies.
Before Madison could say yes, Sonny distracted them by jogging all over the beach and even passing between them a few times.
After laughing at their utter excitement, the pair embraced, and the ring was placed on Madison’s finger.
The video was shared on TikTok and of course it went viral.
Some wonder if Sonny is keeping a secret… and it seems his mother thinks he is too.
Madison commented, ‘I think Jack prepped Sonny and he got in! “Finally, the secret is revealed!” ‘

Sonny was such a big part of the proposal that Madison followers asked if he would attend the wedding. Her reply was, “We’re not sure if Sonny will attend the wedding because he’s so excited.”
The adorable dog does such an incredible job (he seems to run in the shape of hearts and infinity signs) that people believe he’s a “paid actor”. In a follow-up video, Madison asks Sonny how he gets paid… obviously kisses, pats, and belly rubs.
