Linus aside, there’s a famous new boy and blanket! His name is Rush, and he used to reside in SICSA Pet Adoption and Health Care Center in Dayton, Ohio. (I forgot to mention: this boy happens to be a dog.) That’s where a volunteer captured a sweet, adorable video of the little boy wrapped around his crib with a blanket in his mouth in 2015. .
Rush, the video title indicates, actually looks like he’s preparing the bed. It even wags its tail when doing housework. Of course, the task becomes impossible for Rush, who doesn’t want to let the blanket out of his mouth.
Who could ask for a fur child to behave more perfectly? It’s hard to believe he found himself out of the house for such a long time.
Fortunately, the video appeared online and went viral. That’s the first step for Rush to get noticed!
Rush’s new family
Angie and Ronnie Wallace loved dogs, but sadly lost them to a degenerative disease. The video of Rush and his drum went viral at this vulnerable time in their lives. Angie thinks she’s not ready for a new dog, but they both love him, Ronnie tell Dayton 24/7 Now.

Go virus often do wonders for a dog’s chances of adoption. This, fortunately, is one of those cases. Rush has found his forever family in Wallaces! They said they were surprised someone didn’t grab him before they got there.
Hopefully Rush has plenty of blankets to choose from these days. The volunteers at SICSA are all overjoyed for him and saddened to lose him.

To answer everyone’s questions: Angie said Rush still pulled the blanket around, but he sleep in bed with them now.
“He would pull around a blanket but he slept in our bed for the first two days.”
She also emphasized that it is not Wallaces that is famous now. Only Rush has achieved celebrity status.
“We have family members in New York, Florida, my parents, just people are always saying ‘Oh my gosh, you guys are celebrities!’ And I’m like there’s no Rush, we don’t but Rush does. “
