Giant Mastiff fell in love with tiny Chihuahua and now they’re BFFs
Nothing says adorable like two animals becoming best friends.
It’s sweet, it’s healthy, and it’s a great reminder of how kind and emotionally intelligent animals can be.
We usually don’t give them enough credit. While all animals are capable of initiating friendships with others, there’s no denying that dogs are probably the animals most likely to have a best friend.
For Huey, life wouldn’t be the same without Bella, his life partner. But initially, this friendship took a short while to begin.
You see, Huey is a big boy – a 155-pound Mastiff to be exact. And Bella, she’s a 5 pound Chihuahua. It is true that size is irrelevant but it is still a minor concern for their owners. Despite that, the owners went ahead and regained their trust, accepting Bella into their home.
At first, Huey wasn’t sure what to do with the little dog. He’ll just watch her zoom around and go crazy. But in the end she let him down. She wants to be friends, and at some point, Huey too.
One day its owner walked into the room to see two people cuddling each other taking a nap. And since then, the two have been inseparable.
Bella had always wanted to be close to her big brother, and Huey was just too happy to allow that. Plus, he also gives in to her request to play together and the two of them will often be seen zooming around the house together.
As their owners said, “They understand each other.” And that’s so sweet!
