Playful dog having fun while riding a golf cart

We usually have security cameras in our property to keep an eye on what’s going on. We use them to make sure no one steals anything, but sometimes, they also capture something completely unexpected.

That was the experience Mallory Kmet and her husband had when reviewing their security camera footage.

It looked like someone was hanging out in their golf cart but it wasn’t anyone they were expecting.

It all started when Titan, their Mastiff, had an encounter with a skunk in the morning. He’s pretty stinky, so they won’t let him rest on the mattress on the back deck.

The 10-year-old dog is not one to accept an answer. Although he did not have access to his usual gentle resting spot, he did have access to a golf cart. He felt that it would be a great place to get some shelter and comfort.

Unfortunately, Titan hit the accelerator and the car took him on an unexpected ride. It made a big detour and eventually, crashed into the pickup truck.

The Titan wasn’t necessarily upset about the situation. He just went out, looked at the damage, and then continued his work. He was uninjured and the truck repair went well.

Golf cart used in their Manitoba, Canada property. When they talk to local news station, they say they use the truck to carry the wood, but the Titan is never far away. The last time they used the stroller they must not have turned it off completely.

Titan does not seem to be upset about the accident and is still ready to ride the cart at any time. In human terms, it was “one of the things he liked to do.”
