A senior Pit Bull, named Hero, was trapped in the last days of his life in a shelter. No one is willing to give an old dog a home. Pit Crew Rescue in Sacramento heard about Hero and came to pick him up. Although the dog is no longer in the shelter, its difficult days continue. He needs a permanent home for the little time he has left. His gray face says it all, enough years have passed without family, and he needs the love he never had.
The hero is a victim of abuse. His scars, inside and out, have sad stories to tell. The rescue team wanted nothing more than to see the dog live in a happy home before crossing the Rainbow Bridge. A loving couple met Hero and knew he belonged to them. However, this decision is not solely theirs. Their other dog, Sugar, another beautiful Pittie, had to accept Hero. As good dog parents, they understand that they must introduce two puppies before making a final decision.
When the whole family came to meet and greet, Sugar immediately lit up. She hadn’t even come close enough to sniff him! It has been decided – handsome boy has a family forever!
