scorer

The name of the game is Wumpa Scoring! Scorers like Crash are speed heroes who can easily traverse the map, collecting Wumpa fruits and relics to aid their team. Scorers provide the majority of your team’s scoring, so defending your Scorer will be crucial to winning!

block character

The best offense is a good defense! Blockers excel at taking down opponents or defending your team’s Wumpa Bank. They are extremely powerful fighting characters who can easily take on multiple enemies at once and still hold their ground.

enhanced character

Support your team by increasing your score! Supporters are experts who aim to capture various gems scattered across each map to boost their team’s score. Controlling a cluster of gems increases the score for each Wumpa delivered to your Wumpa Bank, allowing them to turn the tide in a flash.

To better understand how the developers themselves feel about each hero role, we asked Lou Studdert, Toys For Bob’s VP of Creative, how each role impacts the game. play:

What role do you tend to play?

Lou Studdert: While each role offers something new, the Top Scorers are usually our first picks. They are very comprehensive and give you the tools to play the way you want, whether it’s collecting Wumpa or annoying another team.

Got a toughest role to compete with?

Blockers can cause a bit of trouble for new players. If you’re playing Support or Scorer and find yourself struggling to go head-to-head with a Blocker, remember you’re not alone! Rely on your teammates to help take them down, and don’t be afraid to retreat to fight another day. Heroes with more mobility will have an easier time collecting relics on each map, these relics can be used at relic stations to give you the upper hand.

Do you always play the same role or do you change your strategy?

Normally, we are attracted to Boosters, but it depends on our mood! Sometimes you just want to mess around with Dingodile, or drop some pianos with Cortex. Thankfully, there’s always the option to change characters between matches, so if you feel the need to change things up, you can easily try a different style of play at any time.
