Club Med’s plans for an all-inclusive ski resort in Utah are now off

And it looks like domestic travelers will at least have to wait a little longer, because plans to develop and open the first all-inclusive Club Med in the United States at Snowbasin Resort in Utah will no longer proceed in 2025, the two entities jointly confirmed.
“We have announced our intention to return to the US .ski market with a new mountain resort with a target opening date of 2025. Unfortunately, while we are hoping for the first project. their U.S. mission will be in Snowbasin, there have been delays and Snowbasin is re-evaluating their development plans in the mountains, focusing instead on improving the skier experience,” Club Med US said in a statement. “Due to these delays, Club Med is shifting its focus to other projects in its plans.”
Club Med has confirmed plans to develop a future US mountain resort in the ski season from 2025 to 2026 as part of a portfolio of three to five properties; This includes openings and renovations that will also take place in the Caribbean. The exact location of each, including the ski resort, is unknown.
