Nearly a hundred thousand people will gather at London’s Wembley Stadium on Saturday to watch England player Tyson Fury defend his WBC belt and linear heavyweight titles against compatriot and longtime contender Dillian Whyte. First, however, some other matches will appear on the lower card.
Fury’s 7-0 brother, Tommy, will take part in a scheduled 6-round light heavyweight bout 10-1 Daniel Bocianski. The younger Fury’s last fight was a decisive win over Anthony Taylor last August. The last time Bocianski was in action was in March 2021, when he was stopped by Patryk Szymanski after five games.
Featherweight champion Isaac Lowe will also be in the mix on Saturday, when the British 21-1-3 will battle for the WBC Silver title against Nick Ball 14-0 in the scheduled 12th round. Lowe’s last game was a seventh-round loss to Luis Lopez in November. Ball, on the other hand, was last spotted ending early night in October when he knocked out Piotr Gudel three times in the first innings. the first of a war don’t replay the second.
The Fury-Whyte card will begin at 2 p.m. Eastern Time on Saturday and will be available with ESPN+ support.
