Ex-Fury Foe Says He’s Giving “Boxing An Evil Look” And Predicts Usyk’s Fight
Tyson Fury’s former rival, Otto Wallin, has expressed disapproval of Fury’s antics over the past six months, with the Swede saying he believes Fury’s antics show boxing from a bad perspective.
Wallin, who lost a decision to compete with Fury in 2019specifically targeted at the WBC world champion repeatedly toying with retirement when speaking to World boxing news.
“Personally, I get tired of it. I know not to take anything he [Fury] seriously, but others do, and that’s why he can keep going back and forth.”
“I do not like it. I think it gives a bad look to boxing.”
Wallin gave Fury a lot of thought about the time they met three years ago, and many have hinted at the problem caused by his Southpaw style as reason to believe ‘The Gypsy King’ has reservations about it. an undisputed fight with Oleksandr Usyk.
However, despite his criticisms of Fury, Wallin believes a legacy-defining fight with Usyk will soon happen, and if it does, Fury will win.
“He just said whatever he was feeling at the moment. But I think he wants to fight Usyk.”
“It’s hard to fight Fury because of his size and boxing skills. Usyk is very good, but it will be a huge requirement for him to defeat Fury. “
“I want to pick Tyson to win a decision.”
Negotiations between Fury have been quiet in recent weeks, with the Ukrainian being ruled out for the rest of the year through injury.
