Organized by Malle London, the Great Malle Mountain Rally is a celebration of the wildest landscapes in Europe. The race takes teams on custom, vintage and modern vintage motorcycles through the Alps, from Austria to Monaco. It’s 1,500 miles of winding roads that cover six countries in six days, crossing passes as high as 2,770 meters (9,088 ft).
Your day begins with a brief press conference in which teams are guided through the five checkpoints outlined on their daily route cards. Race police chiefs are always available to assist riders throughout the journey and time checkpoints are handled by Malle staff. No one really wins, but the goal is to get as close to the control point time as possible.
Too fast? You lose. Too slow? You lose. Near the scheduled time? Well… you lose. But really, you win, because you’re experiencing one of the most dramatic landscapes on the planet.
All protestors sleep in luxurious tents set up and wait at the destination of the bus every day. Nearly every night is spent in a different country, and each evening’s menu is designed by individual chefs to honor that unique region. Each rally participant is also issued a separate “Malle Mountain Rally Duffel” tagged with their rally number, which is transported to their destination each day.
You and a copilot of your choice, will fly a custom Malle Rally Spec Morgan Super 3. Is it a motorcycle? Is it a car? Mostly none and a bit of both.
The Morgan Super 3 is a tandem tricycle built by the British automaker Morgan Motor Company. The newly designed Super 3 is inspired by the rounded lines of the jet age and combines a fresh unibody design with a 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine powered by Ford.
The new Super 3 is a significant departure from the S&S V-Twin-powered original in form and performance, but the essence of the tricycle’s quirky and adventurous spirit remains intact. maintain. It drives like a car, but you will be exposed as if you were on a motorcycle.
