Charles Oliveira vs. Dustin Poirier purse, salary: How much will they make at UFC 269?

Dustin Poirier and Charles Oliveira will both be looking for authenticity when they go head-to-head at UFC 269 on Saturday night.

Oliveira will enter the Octagon as the UFC lightweight champion with the opportunity to extend her winning streak to 10 fights. However, Poirier is really a winner despite being a challenger, as he has won seven of his last eight matches with the only loss coming to Khabib Nurmagomedov. That should provide a lot of impetus for Oliveira.

Poirier, meanwhile, is looking to win an undisputed title for the first time in his illustrious career. He painfully realized that it was the only box he hadn’t checked.

“Winning the title is my ultimate goal,” Poirier said (via Yahoo Sports ‘Kevin Iole). “It’s at the top of the to-do list in mixed martial arts, so it’s very important to me.”

Regardless of which man leaves Las Vegas with the lightweight belt, both will leave with some big checks. This is how much the two boxers will make on Saturday.

Charles Oliveira wallet vs. Dustin Poirier

The official UFC 269 wallet is yet to be revealed, but previous payouts to Oliveira and Poirier could help provide some insight into how much they will earn.

Poirier is estimated to have taken more than 1 million dollars for his UFC 264 fight against Conor McGregor. Oliveira is estimated to have done more than $450,000 for his UFC 262 fight against Michael Chandler.

Oliveira and Poirier aren’t likely to draw the same audience as McGregor did in his prime, but it wouldn’t be surprising if they both raked in between $500,000 and $1 million at the event.
