Ce Ce proves too much in Chillingworth stake

Ce Ce ranks third in career earnings among her descendants. The first is Smarty Jones, who won the Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes in 2004 and earned $7,613,155. In second was Sepoy (AUS), who made $3,990,138.

It was Ce Ce’s 11th consecutive ranked race and 17th of her last 18 outings.

A 1-5 favorite, Ce Ce pays $2.60. Under the Stars returns $3.60 and Teddy’s Barino $2.10.
