The musician – born Mariah Amani Buckles – had a simple battery charge and was connected the same day.
The alleged victim, Cleopatra Dues, told Georgia Fulton County police that she was assaulted by Mariah without warning. In addition, she asked for charges. Dues accused the 26-year-old of braking her for no reason. She said she was not wearing glasses when she was attacked so she could not determine who the perpetrator was. Cleopatra is then said to have identified Mariah as the attacker.
Rapper misidentified
As amateur social media sleuths tried to discover the identity of the assaulted woman, a Staten Island rapper named Cleotrapa was brought into the picture. She then set the record straight.
“LMFAOOOOOO you guys really don’t know my resume. I will never stand in front of the camera fighting with anyone! Just sign up for that. I have worked with so many brands and stop playing around with my name,” she tweeted.
Dues claims she doesn’t know why Mariah Iron is bullying her. She said she never came into contact with the entertainer or her friends.
