Casanova pleads not guilty of attempted murder
Rapper Casanova has pleaded not guilty to one charge of attempted murder when his co-defendant was negotiating to accept a plea agreement.
Casanova and Jarrett “Jayecee” Crisler, outside the King of Diamonds on October 24 and have a conflict with a member of the Crips. According to AllHipHop, Crip took offense at the flashing Casanova gang signs.
Crisler, a member of the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation, was later accused of shooting the gang member and his associates.
Casanova says he’s innocent: “I’m also the one who went to town hall and housing projects with @ericadamsfornyc to talk to children and explain to them how shootings and gun violence are not is a way of life,” he wrote.
“I have visited shelters to feed those in need around the world, including Africa, donated to go back to school and not a single good deed of mine has been mentioned or recognized. I am calling on all great people of meaning and strength to speak up to help me on this matter Any help provided will be a blessing, because I feel so overwhelmed. One’s failed past shouldn’t be the reason why you can’t have a successful future.”
