Buccaneers CV worries grow as Aaron Stinnie rips ACL/MCL
More unfortunate injury news has arrived Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Aaron Stinniean offensive lineman who is vying for the starting left guard spot, tore the ACL and MCL during the previous team’s 13-3 pre-season loss Tennessee Titans.
Stinnie’s injury was another major blow to the team’s attack line, forcing the search for another reinforcement weeks after center Ryan Jensen sick knee at the end of the season.
Not to mention, Tampa lost former Pro Bowl guard Ali Marpet to retirement, and Alex Cappa, who signed with Bengals. Pro Bowl Tournament Tristan Wirfs also dealing with an oblique injury.
A freelance agent that hasn’t been crafted from James Madison, Stinnie was acquitted by Tampa after two seasons with the Titans. He made six appearances in the 2020 season and started the team’s division playoff vs. New Orleans after Cappa broke his ankle. Stinnie went on to start three games after the team’s remaining season, including Super Bowl LV.
Stinnie competed with rookies Luke Goedeke and Nick Leverett Let the left guard point start.
