These 5 NYC ladies are the queens of personal style in my book
Spend any day on the streets of New York and you’re sure to come across not just one, but countless people who could qualify as the most stylish New Yorkers. In SOHO, you will see women dressing as if every day is a special occasion. On the Lower East Side, take a seat sidewalk cafe and attracts some onlookers—the area is full of emerging designers in their 20s. Personally, finding outfits is one of my favorite parts of living in the city. As a Brooklyn resident, when I go out for coffee on the weekends, the fancy look is a bit of a hit more than usual, fashionable but no less easy. Now, a decade into my tenure, there are five women in particular whose personal style I find myself drawn to.
They’re the quintessential New York icon, Chloe Sevigny, on my list, but I’ve also been looking for women who might get a little less attention, for now, including industry peers fashion like Vogue magazine Naomi Elizae. While each woman’s style is different, what makes them all remarkable is their commitment to having fun in their clothes. Whether it’s through bold colors, fun prints, or simply embracing quirky designers, I’m inspired by how each person shapes clothing into a deeply personal style. colorful and creative. Explore each piece below and shop pieces inspired by their looks.
