A new update for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 has broken through to the Switch. While patch night isn’t the biggest night of fixes, we do have a new fighter to try out (if you have the Season Pass, that is).
That’s right, Avatar’s Prince Zuko is the next DLC warrior to join the fight. Those with the game’s Season Pass can now try out this Fire Bender as normal, or you can choose to purchase him as a separate purchase. £5.99 / $6.99.
Zuko has a fiery punch that makes him a strong choice for those who prefer close-range, combo-focused combat, but his specials also open up options for a play at greater distance. You can see a summary of Zuko’s moves in the following video.
This update also brings some tweaks and changes to the brawler. The full patch notes have been shared on the official page Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl website and we’ve compiled them for you to see below.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 ver. 1.8 (Released April 24, 2024)
- NEW CHARACTERS ADDED: ZUKO!
- Fixed the Stand Up in Place status for Gertie, Angry Beavers, and April to match the length of other characters.
- Fixed an issue with slow animations in the Rebound state after Grab Hold.
- Fixed the Visualization option in Training.
CHANGE BALANCE
REN & STIMPY
- Fixed hitbox priority on Charge Air Up so that Sweetspot appears first instead of last.
KORRA
- Fixed visual issues on Grab Hold VFX.
NIGEL
- Fixed an issue that caused Nigel to fall to the ground during his Charge Air Down animation.
GRANDFATHER. KRABS
- Added Invincibility to all Throw attacks.
- Increased Knockback gain for Charge Down.
Again, we found Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 to be a promising breakout game at launch, even though it was disappointing in terms of its performance. You can see our full review below.
