Elden Ring will support raytracing on PC

Followed by a fun 19-minute gameplay trailer that’s engaging for Elden Ring Last week, Bandai Namco released a few details about the PC version. The system requirements are yet to be confirmed, but they have detailed some of the features and limitations, yer resolution and raytracing and that.

The new one Bamco technical support page says that on PC the game will support resolutions up to 3840×2160, will run at “up to 60fps” frame rates (presumably the limit), will support HDR, and will support raytracing via PC . Not a huge amount of information, but it’s something.

That page also has information on frame rates, resolutions, and save compatibility for different PlayStations and Xboxes.

Still waiting for Elden Ring PC system requirements. Several sites earlier this year reported the supposed specs, but sound someone just copied/pasted the claims of Red Dead Redemption 2, then that information was removed enough from its source for it to be transmitted as fact? Love the internet.

Elden Ring comes out February 25, 2022. I want to know as little as possible but great, this is the job. I watched that gameplay video and thought “This looks great and I wish I didn’t know”. It did look great though. Our Ed is particularly pleased that it sound very much like a game of Souls, and I agree. Also, I also enjoyed that boss’ rude attack.

A closed network test is running on consoles this week, with subscriptions here. I wish we had that chance on PC too, I’m glad I won’t see any more games than I really need before I can actually play it at launch.
