A year after pioneering independent watchmaker Armin Strom released the redesigned, sleeker Mirrored Force Resonance, the Swiss-based manufacturer has launched a new version, the Double force resonance production version In blue, featuring a distinctive textured blue dial and matching Alcantara strap.

The latest version of the watch, first introduced by Armin Strom in 2016, remains one of the few serialized watch designs to feature a resonance-based regulating system. The latest series is a limited edition of fifty pieces with new blue accents that accentuate the dial’s holographic display.
The new dark blue eccentric dial matches the dual resonant seconds counter, both finished in the same blue tone and painted with white numerals. The open active seconds dial (with three-arm hand) can be reset to zero using the pusher at 2 o’clock.

These new colorful elements, unusual enough on any dial, share space with another component not seen on any other resonance-based construction: the Steel Resonance Clutch Spring one piece.
Armon Strom’s signature creation essentially transfers energy between both hairsprings and quickly sends the balance wheels into resonance.

This new watch maintains the design’s 43mm x 11.55 steel case and embossed sapphire crystal. On the back, Armin Strom has engraved — in relief — the main plate with the specifications and characteristics of the Double Force Resonance mechanism.
To complete the blue theme, Armin Strom offers Production version of double force resonance in blue on a matching dark blue Alcantara strap.
