Quadrifoglio The name is about to turn 100 years old, so Alfa Romeo decided to celebrate with the 100th anniversary versions of the Giulia and Stelvio. But unless you already have a great relationship with your Alfa Romeo dealer, chances are you won’t be able to get your hands on one. That’s because Alfa plans to make just 100 of each around the world.

The Italian automaker hasn’t said how many versions of the Quadrifoglio 100th Anniversario will be sent to the US, but even if we do have 100 in all, it’s still a severely limited quantity. Alfa hasn’t announced pricing either, but considering how rare they are, we wouldn’t be surprised to hear that dealers are raising prices significantly above the MSRP once they’re released.
That said, it doesn’t look like you’re going to miss much by just buying a regular Quadrifoglio. The press release says they get a small horsepower boost to 520hp, but we bet that’s a European horsepower rating. So in the US it’s more like 513 hp. Of course, more is always better, but 8 hp is not exactly what you will feel. However, you can adjust the mechanical differential from the Giulia GTA, which Alfa says will improve handling.
You also get updated styling from the refresh that includes new, very nice headlights, as well as gold brake calipers. There’s some exposed carbon fiber on the grille and side mirrors. And inside, the number 100 is stitched in gold on the passenger side of the dashboard to make sure everyone knows you’ve received the special Quadrifoglio.
Usually, special editions feature an exclusive paint job, but not here. Your picks are Rosso Etna, Verde Montreal and Nero Vulcano, all available on the regular Quadrifoglios. If it were our car, we’d probably choose Verde Montreal because, man, it really looks great in the press photos. It’s not like you’ll see anyone at Jalopnik buying what could soon become a $90,000 car.
