In the future, it seems unlikely that any place will be out of reach for docking software as long as one remains on the Earth’s surface. This is not always a bad thing, if we can believe it Jeep’s Potential plans for connected communication features for Wrangler. It looks similar to a social network, owners upload their 4×4 Jeep Profile with their Wrangler information like specific model and modifications then make their profile available to any nearby Wrangler . A Wrangler group can also form dedicated groups to keep an eye on individual team members.
Finally, there’s an augmented reality display that can also be of great use when desired, projecting important vehicle or trail information onto the road.
Jeep emphasizes that the technology can work even without cellular connectivity, which is a must for those kinds of trails that Jeepers love to obsess over, but doesn’t delve into how it works. Check out the video to see where the Jeep is likely to go.
