A two-year-old mixed German Shepherd named Squid is winning the hearts of staff and volunteers at Best Friends Animal Society with his unique look.
His face was slightly crooked due to a birth defect but that didn’t bother him in the slightest.

He is the definition of happiness and has so much love to give.
The energetic young man loves walks, car rides, and back scratches – but nothing compares to his love of people.
He longs to be with everyone and loves everyone he meets. His biography Statuses, “He wanted to be with everyone as much as he could, and you could tell he missed them when they left, in fact, he tried his best to go along.”
He was initially taken by a California shelter, the Inland Valley Humane Society & SPCA, before being transferred to the Best Friends Animal Society. Former shelter speak, “He has the funniest faces and is always in the mood.”
