5 Lightroom Tips You Probably Didn’t Know
As someone who spends almost every day working in Lightroom, I’ve discovered a few features that most people probably don’t know about. From organization to editing techniques, there might be something here that you didn’t know you could do in Lightroom.
The easy-to-learn yet fully powerful balance is something Lightroom does very well, but it means that there are quite a few features that even seasoned users might not know exist in the program. In this video, I look at some of those features along with some larger conceptual techniques that can help you on your next edit.
- A tool that will help you arrange panoramas, images in square brackets, or in some cases, both.
- Workflow to choose your best image from a sea of similar images.
- Adjust your histogram to give you the information you really care about to better edit your images.
- Go beyond the standard white balance for photos with a lot of temperature.
- Controls masking the subject to make life a little easier when the subject is not detected correctly.
Many of these will also work on Lightroom Mobile if that’s your preferred version. I’d like to know what little or big hidden features you’ve found in your time with Lightroom, or if any of these help your editing toolbox.
