Available in Yamaha’s 17 network Genuine Yamaha Technology Racing (GYTR) In pro shops across Europe, the R1 GYTR offers racers and riders a purpose-built package with only the parts needed for the race track.
Comprised of over 25 GYTR parts, including a full Akrapovic silencer and linked pipe system, the R1 GYTR improves power and escapeability for riders of all skill levels. GYTR ECU comes with harness and ABS simulator for full racing mode along with PC cable for remote diagnostics and GYTR on/off switch for an authentic racing bike look.
The spec sheet includes GYTR stainless steel brake lines with steel brake calipers and Brembo Z04 brake pads. The GYTR racing rear footpeg comes with reverse gearshift along with a racing handlebars and racing crank in primed, race-ready white.
For riders who need more, taking it to another level is the R1 GYTR Pro kit, bringing the standard R1 closer to the championship. R1 in WSBK. The parts in this kit are identical to those used in Yamaha’s WSBK racing team and are aimed at serious riders, or riders who want the ultimate in luxury of a Yamaha R1.
Carbon fiber is used for the subframe and rear crank to reduce weight, while the large fuel tank and low center of gravity improve handling. Customizable Marelli electronics are fitted, while Brembo brake calipers are standard on the Ohlins FGR400 front fork.
