Along with the CFMoto 450SR in the CFMoto lineup in Malaysia is the CFMoto 700CL-X Adventure (ADV) 2023, priced at RM35,888. Prices do not include road tax, insurance, or registration, and there is only one color option, Aurora Blue.
700CL-X ADV participate Heritage CFMoto 700CL-X (RM28,800) in catalog and available at all authorized CFMoto Malaysia distributors. With the retro styling of a scrambler motorcycle, the 700CL-X ADV has a more distinct design, with a high-mounted front fender and spoked wheels.
Like 700CL-X Heritage, 700CL-X ADV is equipped with DOHC parallel engine, liquid-cooled, 693 cc capacity and compliant with Euro 5 standard. Power for 700CL-X ADV is rated at 69 codes. force at 8,500 rpm and maximum torque of 60.9 Nm at 6,500 rpm.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed gearbox equipped with a CF-SC anti-slip clutch and chain-link final drive. The front wheel is 18 inches with 110/80 Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tires while the rear wheel is 17 inches with 170/60 tyres.
Braking is done with single Brembo Stylema brake calipers on the front wheel with 300 mm disc brake while the rear wheel has a single dual-piston Brembo brake caliper with 260 mm disc with ABS as standard. KYB offers front suspension with a 41 mm diameter fully adjustable upside-down fork with rear shock held by a KYB monoshock that comes with preload springs and rebound dampers.
In keeping with the 700CL-X ADV’s off-road purposes, in addition to the high front fenders, the seats also have extra padding. In addition, the handlebars are raised by 30 mm and 15 mm backward, allowing for driving while standing on the footrest.
With a 13-liter fuel tank, the 700CL-X ADV weighs 203 kg and has a seat height of 830 mm. LED lighting is used throughout, and a wire-guided steering system is standard, offering two driving modes – Road and Terrain – while other driving conveniences include a self-destruct indicator light.
