A new one neoclassical roadster of TVS Motors India, the TVS Ronin 2022 has a classic style. Accompanied by a completely new frame, this new motorcycle platform from TVS leads the way towards other futuristic models such as cafe racer or scrambler.
The engine for the Ronin comes from a 225.9 cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder SOHC engine, supplied by EFI. Combined with a 5-speed sliding clutch transmission, Ronin is said to produce 20.4 horsepower at 7,750 rpm and 19.92 Nm of torque at 3,750 rpm.
All necessary functions and information are displayed on the circular LCD digital display. The display includes a gear position indicator, tachometer, speedometer, fuel level, range and distance to empty, as well as a meter.
Bluetooth connectivity is provided to the driver’s smartphone and provides call and message notifications, voice assistance and navigation. The driver can choose between two available ABS modes, Rain or Urban.
Suspension is done with 41 mm upside-down forks, with a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. Fitted with 17-inch wheels with 110/70 and 130/70 rubber, Ronin wears 300 mm brake discs at the front and 240 mm discs at the rear.
The Ronin’s overall weight is listed as 160 kg, with 14 liters of fuel loaded in the tank and seat height at 795 mm. Equipment includes LED lighting, electric starter, attached chain guard and adjustable brake lever.
