You’d be surprised what you can achieve with a $25 camera

Modern cameras are impressive, able to tackle any tough situation you can throw at them, even ones that just a few years ago removed the best options from our game. they. As a result, it can be easy to depend on that technology too much and forget how far you can get with good engineering and a solid creative background. This neat video reminds you of that by showing what you can do with a $25 camera that’s almost two decades old.

Coming to you from Gary Gough, this brief video follows him as he uses his Canon EOS 350D (also known as Digital Rebel XT) to photograph birds in flight. The 350D was first introduced in 2005 and featured an 8-megapixel sensor, seven focus points, and a continuous shooting rate of 3 fps. While we’ve seen videos showing what you can do with cheap equipment and good engineering before, this one caught my attention because it added the challenge of fast action. . Even in 2005, the 350D was considered entry-level, so 17 years later, it’s pretty understandable to see what Gough can achieve with it. Of course, the quality can’t be compared with a modern camera, but it’s still better than you might think. Check out the video above for a full rundown from Gough.
