Marcus is a beautiful dog that had an unlucky start in life. Someone caught him wandering the streets, thin and pale. He dug through trash cans for food, desperate to find a satisfying meal. If he continued that lifestyle, his chances of survival would be very low.
Fortunately, a kind person decided to help the dog in need. They lured Marcus to their home, and once they had earned his trust, they took him to the vet for a checkup. He doesn’t have a microchip, but they posted him on social media just to be safe.
No one has come to pick up the puppy, so it’s likely he’s been wandering around for a while. Veterinarians believe it was about two or three years old. Marcus’ rescuer couldn’t hold him back, so they looked for a rescuer who could care for him.

Thanks to the generous food donation, Marcus had a full stomach in no time.
The rescue also helps Marcus feel his best by brushing his shaggy coat. He now has a soft, plush coat where all his tangles are gone. He looks and feels better than ever!
