Mission King Of The Baggers had a race at the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca over the weekend, and MotoAmerica’s Big Twin pilots brought plenty of excitement to the track. It was a particularly good day for the Harley-Davidson teams, who took to the podium.
Defending champion Kyle Wyman took the win on his HD Screamin’ Eagle Road Glide Special and closed the gap with current championship lead Tyler O’Hara, who started from pole but ended up late. same about Wednesday.
Travis Wyman, brother of Kyle Wyman, finished second, three seconds behind Kyle. Vance & Hines Racing’s James Rispoli took the Harley home for a third.

“O’Hara was clearly struggling with the rear. I know like a blown tire, it won’t get any better. He went at a good enough pace that I felt like I wasn’t really in danger of being overtaken from behind. I was content to sit there and let something happen. On the second or third lap, he lost a sizable rear of the nine going down Rainey (The Curve). Open the door for me to get in under him in ten minutes. From there, I think I put 29.4 down and then I see 1.3 on the board. So put in a few more lower 30s, maybe a high 29 after that and just manage the gap. Travis was right. The gap goes down a bit, like two or three tenths at a time. So I just need to be consistent and focused. It’s really greasy out there. I’ve actually been really cautious with the way I hold the edge. So happy that I was able to clearly understand and do my own race and win a half (for our team) and a third for Harley. “
Tyler O’Hara is India’s top driver, 1.5 seconds faster than Jeremy McWilliams, with Bobby Fong in sixth place. Completing the top 10 were Taylor Knapp, Frankie Garcia, Danny Eslick and Andrew Lee.
One point now separates O’Hara and Wymans on the leaderboard, with Kyle and Travis on 86 points, compared with Tyler 87. Jeremy McWilliams is fourth with 78 points, ahead of James Rispoli.
