Meghan Specksgoor from Midlothian, Virginia, decided to ask her dad to babysit her dog as she prepared to leave for New York. Her father Larry is undoubtedly the proudest grandfather of his 4-year-old German grandson Shephard named Chance. Meghan decided to post her message on Twitter of these two and their adventures. These have since gone viral with over 55k retweets.
In his father’s first text, Larry wrote: “Grandpa wants to know what I can bring back? We are starving.”

“I hate to bother Mom, but we really need to hang out with Grandpa more,” Larry wrote in another message, which showed Chance happily hanging out with his grandfather at the park.

After a picnic dinner together, Larry took Chance for a manicure. Then he took Chance for some kid-friendly ice cream for dessert. At the end of their day together, Larry lets Chance sleep with him in his bed. From Chance’s face, you could tell he was very happy. Grandpa is in treatment”grandson“Like gold!
Larry sent his last message, saying: “Mom, grandpa is going to sleep with me tonight, do we have something to tell him?” He continued: “Hope you have as much fun as I do 😍 see you tomorrow and good night, love you so much ❤️“We just love this man!

It’s great to have a father (and grandfather) like Larry. Meghan knows Chance is always in good hands if she has to leave her furry baby behind. Larry wanted very much (eventually) to have human grandchildren. I bet he’ll spoil them just as much as he loves to spoil Chance.
