Which is the TTArtisan 23mm f/1.4 Lens Worth it?
The TTArtisan 23mm f/1.4 is an all-metal handcrafted lens designed for a wide range of crop sensor cameras. In this video, I discuss my first impressions of using the lens and also whether or not I think it’s worth picking up.
Manually using a lens on a mirrorless camera may seem more cumbersome at first, but it really depends on the particular lens. Personally, I’ve had mixed results when manually focusing some of my autofocus lenses, as manual focus can sometimes seem like an afterthought. With TTArtisan 23mm . lens, which is certainly not the case, and one of the best parts of the lens is how smooth and confident the focusing is. In fact, it only took me a minute or two to get used to manually focusing the lens, especially when used with the highest focus. In the video, I also discuss the build quality of the lens, which is very well made, aesthetics as well as image quality. I mainly used the 23mm lens on the X-T4 over the course of two days with my family, and in the review I give feedback and show some sample images. I hope you like it!
