If you don’t own the Steam Deck, use the Switch version of the game. Great! I spend most of my time playing it there. You can easily play it anywhere. Plus, there’s the option to dock to view your farm on a larger screen. (That’s very useful for multiplayer!)

If you own a Steam Deck, then use the PC port instead. This is because you can still take advantage of the mods! You will need to get SMAPI mod loader for the game, install it in Konsole, then get your mod and put it in Stardew Valley mods folder.
