Max Verstappen continued to dominate the Miami Grand Prix with pole position in qualifying

MIAMI – Continuing the journey Same form as he had all weekend, Red Bull‘S Max Verstappen won pole for Miami grand opening. With a time of 1:27.241, he was just over a tenth faster than Charles Leclerc, who always started second like he did in the Sprint.

Miami fan favorite Sergio Perez earned fourth place to clear the first two rows. Daniel Ricciardo may have been the talk of the rowers after the Sprint, but just a few hours later he was knocked out in Q1 and would end up dead last thanks to a three-point penalty. The Racing Bulls driver will have to put in a lot of effort tomorrow to get his car to reach today’s score.

Neither of them McLaren car With their upgrades they can climb the ladder high enough to defeat the Red Bulls either Ferrari, but at least they will start next to each other in fifth and sixth. Nico Hulkenberg is continuing Haas’ strong weekend with a ninth-place qualifying finish, although his teammate Kevin Magnussen isn’t having much luck, finishing 19th. Plus, Magnussen’s driving car – battling Hamilton in the Sprint – has caught the eye of the stewards which could see him hit with a further penalty.

Fernando Alonso has had a below-average weekend so far and continued qualifying as his teammate Lance Stroll qualified him for 11th compared to Alonso’s 15th. Also disappointing was Florida native Logan Sargeant, who was eliminated in Q1. Teammate Alex Albon moved his Williams up to 14th.
