When are the Raiders vs. Browns will be playing? Week 15 games pushed back amid wave of positive tests for COVID
As the Browns’ COVID list continues to grow, calls for their game against the Raiders on Saturday will also be postponed.
Cleveland finds itself in the middle of an AFC playoff chase, but if there is a game on Saturday, it will play a live no-show, with 11 starting players already on the COVID list.
NFL COVID-19 TRACKING DEVICE: Updated player-by-team roster in protocol for Week 15
At the beginning of the week, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that there have been 37 positive tests, the most in the NFL since the COVID-19 pandemic began. That number is only growing, with the Browns being one of several teams that have hit a total of 20 players testing positive this week.
If the game goes on, neither Browns starting quarterback Baker Mayfield nor reserve Case Keenum will be able to play in the game. The team will instead turn to Nick Mullens, who started eight games for the 49ers in 2020 and finished the year with 12 touchdowns, 12 interceptions and 2,437 passes.

The NFL made the decision to officially delay; The game is made on the NFL Network
(December 17): The League has officially announced that the game will be pushed back. It’s scheduled to air by NFL Network at 5 p.m. ET, beginning a few hours before the “Monday Night Football” game between the Vikings and the Bears.
Browns-Raiders move to Monday
(December 17): According to Josina Anderson, the match has been postponed to Monday. Albert Breer is reporting that the game will be held at 5 p.m. ET.
The looming postponement?
(December 17): ESPN’s Dan Graziano reported that the NFL and NFLPA are discussing moving the game to Monday or Tuesday. The decision may come soon.
I was told there were NFL/NFLPA discussions today about rescheduling the Raiders-Browns game for Saturday, possibly Monday or Tuesday. A decision could be announced within the next hour, before Raid gamers are scheduled to head to Cleveland.

Another Cleveland Begins
(December 17): Late defense Jadeveon Clowney became the latest member of the team to test positive. ESPN’s Yates Field said that leaves 11 starting Cleveland players out of action on Saturday.
The Browns have now dropped 11 game starters against the Raiders.
Literally half of their starting lineup, consisting of their QB and backup QB.

Joe Thomas says to ‘stay tuned’
(December 17): Does Joe Thomas know something that the rest of the NFL world doesn’t? He seemed to point out a lot, supposedly saying to “stay tuned” for the state of Saturday’s game.

NFLPA is working hard to postpone
(December 16): According to ProFootballTalk, the NFLPA “urged” the game to be postponed. It says there are concerns about “player safety and game integrity.”
Case Keenum has been added to the COVID list
(December 16): Keenum tests positive for COVID-19 on Thursday, forcing the Browns to switch to third-string QB Nick Mullens for Saturday’s game.
Baker Mayfield, Kevin Stefanski are included in the COVID list
(December 15): The Browns had a problem with COVID-19, but on Wednesday Both their starting midfielders and head coaches are reported to have positive results. While it does not rule out the possibility that they are available in Saturday’s game, it has raised doubts about whether they will be available. Mayfield will have to test negative twice before the start of the game, and the two tests will have to be at least 24 hours apart.
