Knicks fans watch ‘The Office’ muted at Madison Square Garden rather than lose to the Pelicans
The New York Knicks haven’t been good for a long time.
That was until last year when the team wrapped up the 2020-21 campaign with 16 wins out of 20, including a nine-game winning streak, the longest such streak in seven years, and reaching the knockout stages for the first time. after eight seasons.
While they were knocked out of the knockout stages by the Hawks fairly quickly (4-1), the fan base was on fire.

Those expectations fell short of reality on Thursday night, however, when the Pelicans beat the Knicks at Madison Square Garden in a low-scoring game of 102-91. Julius Randle, Kemba Walker and Evan Fournier add up to 15 points. It was a fascinating performance.
The game isn’t necessarily unwatchable. But, it’s also not exactly worth watching.
That statement was never more true than watching a Knicks fan skip over the game to watch an episode of ‘The Office’, muted and unsubtitled from his seat at MSG.

The Knicks will host the Clippers for their next game at Madison Square Garden on Sunday night. New York will be looking to break a three-game losing streak against Los Angeles, who are about to lose to the Nuggets in extra time 130-128.
Maybe ‘Scott’s Tots’ will be in the next game.
