What is the difference between a flash and a flash?

If you’re new to artificial light, the array of terminology and equipment can be a bit overwhelming at first. One of the most important distinctions is between a speedlight and a flash. Although the terms are sometimes used interchangeably, they are essentially different devices with distinct purposes. This great video tutorial will show you the difference between the two and what each is used for.

Coming to you from Jiggie Alejandrino, this helpful video will tell you the difference between speed light and strobe light. For practical purposes and purposes, a flash is a smaller, less powerful, and often cheaper type of flash that can be mounted directly on your camera mount or separately on a stand. Strobe lights, on the other hand, tend to be more expensive, but they provide significantly more power and can use more regulators, making them much more versatile, although they are less portable. It really depends on your creative and practical needs, and many photographers use both depending on the situation. Check out the video above for the full recap from Alejandrino.
