December is here, and you know what time it is: time for the RPS Advent Calendar. We’ll soon start counting down our favorite games of the year (well, in no particular order until we open that last door), but what will we choose? I know, because the poll just ended. I spent my lunch time this week playing Agatha Christie – Hercule Poirot: The First Cases (I wanted the boy to be at the production meeting when they finally reached a compromise on the name.) The 45-60 minute run feels like an ITV series, which I really enjoyed and I’ll be watching a few more episodes this weekend, as it happens. I’m currently watching a chapter called Secret. I wonder what it could be about.

I’m still playing Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, and still excited when Adam Jensen penetrates deep into the city’s infrastructure to get where he wants to be. To him, the city was like Swiss cheese, whether it was through vents or punching holes into his own entrances. I realized one day that I could barely see the guards in most places, let alone put them to sleep, because I moved so deep inside walls, floors, sewers. and their servers. Prague’s boroughs feel denser than many old missionary spaces, so mastering this space is a plus.

Halo Infinite is proving to be a good time, so perhaps more. If not, I’ll probably stay away from the screen for a while. I can cut my hair and say “yes, that’s right mate, thanks,” no matter what haircut I end up with.
Let’s come
I’m giving up on my PC this weekend because it’s Pokémon hour and nothing is more important than Pokemon playtime. When Pokémon Diamond originally came out, my mom didn’t let me have it until we went on vacation a few weeks later. Those few weeks felt like forever to my 5-year-old, so I wasted no time when we arrived. I clearly remember going to Norfolk and immediately begging for my cartridge. Gen 4 instantly became my favorite, so I can’t wait to go back and hang out with my Chimchar for the whole weekend. I can’t keep you waiting this time!

I’m very close to going platinum in Apex Legends‘ranked mode, and once I do, I’ll eventually jump into Halo Infinite. This is my first Halo! I’m a growing PlayStation kid so I’m excited to see what all that fuss is about. Will it get my attention better than Apex? Who knows!

Right now I am living in a state of obscurity caused by a combination of never getting enough sleep, living in a house that is still half unpacked, and spending all my spare time trying to decide on what to do. his GOTY. All week whenever I have a minute, I get dizzy in the middle of playing Chronicles of the great lawyer Ace, It takes twoand Manager’s Cut House of Ashes. If I manage to spend any weekend fully sober and not busy with stuff in construction, I hope I’ll stick with some combination of the above.
