The Canon EOS R3 is currently Canon’s most powerful mirrorless camera yet, it offers a number of impressive features and capabilities that have impressed most users. However, the title of “top” will ultimately go to the EOS R1. Looks like we might have to wait a while for that.
Canon has developed quite a number of mirrorless cameras and lenses, but the EOS R1, the mirrorless line of the 1D series, has yet to hit the market. Canon rumor is Report that we may have to wait a while longer, as it may not appear until the 2024 Olympics in Paris, France. This can be frustrating for photographers who are keeping an eye on cameras like sony a1 and Nikon Z9 with envy, but in the meantime, the camera like EOS R3 and EOS R5 has generally met the needs of most professional photographers. However, whenever the EOS R1 hits the market, I’m sure there will be plenty of sports and wildlife photographers interested in this camera. It’s no surprise to hear that it could also show up at the Olympics, as it’s a popular place for camera companies to show off their latest technology. Hopefully, we’ll hear something before that!
