Looks like just a few weeks ago I reported on a extension for Luminar Neo. It allows HDR compositing of different exposures. Now, another extension is being implemented, this one for AI-based noise reduction.
In fact, by the end of 2022, Skylum will release a total of seven extensions, following the release of HDR Merge in July and the upcoming Noiseless AI release in August, with four more coming in November and part in December. Skylum is also adding a more flexible payment solution, introducing a Luminar Neo subscription and all the extensions that will be released during the subscription period. Those who sign up early can benefit from better rates. All 2022 extensions are also available to Luminar Neo lifetime license holders as a bundle in the pre-order deal.
The reviewers have yet to submit the interference plug-in, so I don’t have any reports. Had great options in Topaz DeNoise AI and On1 No AI noiseto name the two most popular.
The flexibility of Luminar Neo’s new engine allows it to offer a new extension: Noiseless AI, the second extension released for Luminar Neo. It is an AI-based professional-grade tool that reduces noise in images. Built-in algorithms enable higher quality results to be achieved, and new control options allow users to retain more accuracy in results. The noiseless AI is designed for raw images, but works well with non-raw image formats. Thanks to its intelligent neural network, Noiseless AI removes noise, but retains all the high-quality details in the image. Based on in-depth image analysis, Noiseless AI will determine the noise level of the image and will suggest one of three noise reduction options, Low, Medium or High, which artists can apply with a single click or manually adjust the noise reduction level. Furthermore, the three Skylum sliders, Brightness, Color and Detail, give more control over the results.
Skylum hopes to provide a complete solution for photographers who want all of their workflow solutions within the Neo program itself.
Noiseless AI will be released on August 30. It can be purchased with a monthly or yearly Luminar Neo Pro subscription, or purchased as part of the 2022 Extensions plan. Monthly or weekly Pro subscription. year is available from August 16 and includes Luminar Neo and all the extensions that will be released during the subscription period. By signing up during the annual bird period, Luminar Artists gets the best price possible for the first year of subscriptions, but sadly no prices have been announced.
